Job Title: Support Worker - Experienced Care Professional

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team in Newcastle and Maitland locations. As a Support Worker, you will provide personal care support and assistance with daily activities to individuals with aged care and disability needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care support, including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and preparing meals.
  • Assist with personal activities, such as administration, shopping, banking, and attending appointments.
  • Provide transport support and facilitate community inclusion and participation.
  • Follow care plans and routines, and maintain accurate records of people we support.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in community services or individual support.
  • Flexibility to work rosters between 6am and 10.30pm.
  • Experience in manual handling, hoists, and lifter equipment is highly desirable.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to person-centered care.
