About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Cimic Group's Iron Bridge operations. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mobile equipment and maintaining a safe, reliable, and productive crew.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of maintenance personnel, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions and results. You will manage and execute maintenance work using efficient equipment servicing strategies to achieve targeted service times and schedule compliance rates. Additionally, you will ensure that work is completed within budget and resources, and collaborate with other teams to implement safety plans.

You will have the opportunity to lead by example, fostering a culture of collaboration and achieving excellence within your work team. Your previous experience in open-cut coal mining, mechanical trade certificate or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering, and extensive post-trade or relevant mobile maintenance experience in a mining environment will serve as a strong foundation for this role.

As a successful applicant, you will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have proven experience in maintenance planning and condition monitoring. You will be comfortable working in a high-pressure environment and have knowledge of relevant mining-related legislation. About You

  • You hold a mechanical trade certificate or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering.
  • You have extensive post-trade or relevant mobile maintenance experience in a mining environment.
  • You possess previous supervisory experience.
  • You have a strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and the community.
  • You have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • You have proven experience in maintenance planning and condition monitoring.
  • You can work in a high-pressure environment.
  • You have knowledge of relevant mining-related legislation.
