The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Conveyor Maintenance Expert to join our Operations Services Maintenance team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our conveyor systems.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Safety First: Develop and maintain clear safety standards within the leadership team, leading safety investigations, risk assessments and root cause analysis.
- Team Player: Foster positive and productive working relationships and team culture, providing coaching, mentoring and technical advice and support to OS Conveyor team members.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead and support continuous improvement opportunities, using business improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing, and data management and analysis tools.
- Problem-Solving: Work closely with the Site Reliability team to develop solutions to conveyor-related concerns, and lead practical problem-solving discussions and drive actions alongside the Conveyor team.
About You
We are looking for someone with a strong background in maintenance and repair of conveyor systems, preferably with trade qualifications and/or belt splicing experience. Your skills and qualifications should include:
- Strong Communication: Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through effective influencing.
- Project Management: Project management and/or engineering experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Maintenance Expertise: Trade qualification and/or belt splicing experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrated computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), and experience with work management software tools (e.g. SAP).
- Reliability: Experience in detailed scoping and maintenance planning for multi-disciplined workgroups operating in a Fixed Plant Maintenance environment is preferred, but not essential.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, plus additional benefits including flexible working options, a generous paid parental leave policy, other extended leave entitlements, and parent rooms.
