
Aboriginal Health Continuity Care Specialist

As part of the Aboriginal Health Unit, you will play a pivotal role in supporting goals to improve outcomes for Aboriginal families.
We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to provide high-quality coordination and support for the Child Maternal Health Continuity of Care Protocol Program. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining effective systems and processes, delivering efficient administrative and project support, and assisting with data collection, reporting and research to address complex and sensitive issues. Working closely with the leadership team, you will contribute to the delivery of key initiatives, provide executive-level support, and ensure best-practice record management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and coordinate the provision of confidential, high-quality, and timely executive support for the Child Maternal Health Continuity of Care Protocol Program.
- Develop and coordinate systems and processes within Aboriginal Health to ensure quality administrative functions across the Child Maternal Health Continuity of Care Protocol Program.
- Provide effective and efficient administrative, research, and project support services for the Child Maternal Health Continuity of Care Protocol Program, including email management, report preparation, briefing notes, data collection, and analysis to assist with resolving complex and sensitive issues.
- Offer project support to the leadership team in delivering complex projects or initiatives and providing efficient administrative services, including word and excel processing, and maintaining high-level record management practices.
- Participate as an integral team member of the Aboriginal Health Unit, contributing to the business plan of the Department of Health and Wellbeing.
