Job Title: Technical Platform Owner

Join Talent International as a Technical Platform Owner and take on a critical role in optimizing our platform to meet business needs and drive functionality and revenue growth.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Platform Owner to oversee the end-to-end management of integrations between products and both direct and indirect sales channels. This includes managing the API functionality to ensure alignment with the broader distribution strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Platform Ownership: Maximize platform value by ensuring it is fit for purpose and capable of efficiently onboarding and integrating key partners via APIs.
  • API and Integration Management: Oversee the design, development, and optimization of API solutions to enable seamless integrations between systems and external partners.
  • Cost and Benefit Analysis: Monitor and assess operational costs and benefits, ensuring the solution delivers value while remaining cost-effective.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors involved in API and integration services, ensuring they meet performance standards and deliverables within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and guide the development team, set clear priorities, and ensure the team has a well-defined backlog and sprint goals.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve fragmented or non-functional experiences within the distribution channel, enhancing user interactions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to review and manage product requests, dependencies, and enhancements.
  • Backlog Management & Sprint Planning: Define and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and technical requirements based on business impact. Work with the scrum master to guide the team through epics and user stories.
  • Sprint Execution & Feature Delivery: Oversee sprint execution to ensure the timely delivery of new features and API capabilities. Set acceptance criteria and provide go/no-go decisions for releases.
  • User-Centric Testing & Feedback: Drive user testing with customers and partners to validate features and refine solutions based on feedback.
  • Post-Release Optimization: Measure platform performance post-release, making continuous improvements and defining next steps for future sprints.
  • KPIs and Performance Tracking: Track, report, and optimize delivery against KPIs to ensure the successful execution of epics, sprints, and overall platform health.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing technical platforms and APIs.
  • Strong track record of delivering API-driven solutions and managing complex integration projects.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Data-driven, with the ability to use analytics to identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
