This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about technology and mentoring students. As a Casual Tech School Mentor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of tech leaders.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring students in various aspects of technology, including digital design, media development, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. You will also facilitate programs, games, and technical skills when requested, and assist students and staff in operating and managing design technology.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Studying or completed tertiary qualifications in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
  • High-level knowledge of digital design or digital media development
  • Experience mentoring or coaching student-aged children
  • Ability to support self-directed and project-based learning
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Adobe Illustrator, Autodesk Fusion, Virtual Reality, Figma, and electronics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organised, proactive, and collaborative approach
