Legal Expertise Opportunity

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal services and expertise.

The successful candidate will develop the legal intellectual capital of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake extensive contract reviews and negotiations on proposed contracts and tenders.
  • Review and advise on other agreements and related issues, including subcontracts and insurance coverage.
  • Provide legal advice on liability and risk identification, allocation, and management.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on questions of insurance coverage and contractual undertakings.
  • Assist debt collection activities and provide advice on matters arising in the performance and administration of contracts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in law.
  • Post-graduate qualification in a relevant area (desirable).
  • Current Legal Practicing Certificate.
  • Member of a State Law Society.
  • 5+ years PAE legal experience, including commercial law, construction law, and services contracts.
