Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Change and Release Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the change management process and ensuring that all changes to IT services and infrastructure are made in a controlled and approved manner.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITSM and experience working with Defence SIAM processes. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to mentor junior team members.

About This Role
  • Manage the change management process to ensure that all changes to IT services and infrastructure are made in a controlled and approved manner.
  • Identify and assess potential change requirements, including responding to Requests for Change.
  • Validate change requirements and categorise changes accordingly.
  • Seek technical, emergency and deployment approvals as required.
  • Conduct reviews of changes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in ITSM Change and Release Management or a similar role.
  • Minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) AGSVA Security Clearance.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Knowledge of Defence SIAM processes and ITSM tools.
