They ensure that all changes to IT services and infrastructure are made in a controlled, approved manner in line with SIAM processes.
They must ensure changes are consistent, repeatable, communicated to stakeholders, and that associated risks are understood and mitigated.Your ResponsibilitiesIdentify potential change requirements, including responding to Requests for Change.Validate, assess, and categorize change requirements.Seek technical, emergency, and deployment approvals, including presenting changes to CABs and validating change approvals.Conduct reviews of changes, including formal reviews and PCRs for unauthorized or unsuccessful changes.Manage change records, including rescheduling, re-scoping, and closing them.Participate in process forums such as DEFCAB, PCRF, Community of Practice, and One-on-Ones.Support the process community by cascading information and identifying continual improvement opportunities.Handle escalations and act as a Change Approver for approving or denying changes.Support and mentor team members in technical, operational, and process areas.Your Skills and Role RequirementsIdeally, 5+ years of experience in ITSM Change and Release Management or similar roles.Minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) AGSVA Security Clearance.Based in ACT or willing to relocate.Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to manage expectations, plan, schedule, and monitor changes effectively.Experience in developing and reviewing process documentation and reporting on changes.Desirable:Practical knowledge of Defence SIAM Change and ITSM processes.Experience working with Defence or Federal Government clients.Our Culture and BenefitsDXC is committed to building better futures through a 'people first' philosophy, offering competitive remuneration, benefits, training, and career opportunities.
