Job Title: Operational Change Manager

Job Description

The Operational Change Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that IT services and infrastructure are modified and updated in a controlled and compliant manner, adhering to Service Integration and Management (SIAM) processes.

This role is responsible for identifying potential change requirements, including responding to Requests for Change. The Operational Change Manager must validate these requirements, assess their feasibility, categorize changes, and obtain necessary approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Change Identification: Identify potential change requirements and respond to Requests for Change in a timely and effective manner.
  • Validation and Assessment: Validate and assess change requirements to ensure they align with business objectives and SIAM processes.
  • Change Categorization: Categorize changes based on their impact, complexity, and priority.
  • Approval Process: Obtain technical, emergency, and deployment approvals for changes.
  • Review and Closure: Conduct reviews of changes and close change records in accordance with established procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel as an Operational Change Manager, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) Change and Release Management or a similar role.
  • Minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) AGSVA Security Clearance.
  • A strong understanding of SIAM processes and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
