Job Title:

Internal Account Manager

About the Role:

This is a high profile sales position that requires strategic business development, account management and pipeline health for a broad portfolio within Perth and regional Western Australia.

The primary objective of this role is to achieve territory financial targets, identify growth opportunities and develop strong customer relationships. This position will be responsible for maximising sales via strategic business development, account management and pipeline health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Revenue
  • Gross margin (including % & contract pricing management)
  • Account growth

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Developing and maintaining a sales opportunity funnel in line with targets
  2. Focus on growing existing accounts and developing new business
  3. Ensuring an effective customer contact program is implemented and managed to maximise sales growth & key customer relationships
  4. Developing and implementing key account plans and strategies in line with marketing and sales management objectives
  5. Reporting and communicating internally to ensure opportunities are being maximised and customer (external & internal) expectations are being met

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent, preferably in business and/or scientific field
  • Previous Sales experience (3-5 years) with accountability for achievement of KPI's and Financial Targets and or similar technical support role
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a passion for sales and achieving results
  • A proven background in sales including a strong awareness of the sales and negotiation processes and an ability to sell creatively/competitively
