Business Development Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to drive sales growth across Western Australia from our Perth based branch in Malaga. You will work closely with the National Sales & Operations Manager and internal operations teams to develop and implement targeted growth strategies.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive margin & revenue growth
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through strategic cold calling and networking
  • Understand clients' specific needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions that align with industry-leading products.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals with support from internal teams
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customised solutions for clients
  • Provide regular sales performance updates and market feedback to national leadership
  • Inspire, coach and develop direct reports
  • Oversee inventory and logistics to ensure the WA branch runs smoothly

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in business-to-business sales position
  • Transport hydraulics background is essential
  • Proactive business development mindset with ability to prospect and cold call
  • A hands-on approach with sharp problem-solving skills
  • A positive attitude that brings energy to the team
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Good leadership and team development skills
  • A current driver's licence
