Job Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong individual to join our collaborative team as a Building Designer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality design documentation across various stages of development, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate concepts into working drawings, guaranteeing adherence to building regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues promptly and maintain consistency across BIM libraries, templates, and drawing standards.
  • Liaise with councils and certifiers to facilitate smooth approvals and compliance.
  • Work closely with the pre-construction team to meet project deadlines with precision.

Requirements:

  • Holds a Certificate IV or relevant qualification in Building Design or Residential Drafting.
  • Proficient in Archicad (required); Revit experience highly desirable.
  • Displays strong knowledge of compliance documentation and Australian construction standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in residential design, including detached homes, terraces, and duplexes.
  • Possesses high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.
