About the Role

We're looking for a Building Designer with at least 2 years of experience and strong ArchiCAD proficiency (this is non-negotiable). While expertise in ArchiCAD is essential, training will be provided in other areas, including Lumion. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a thriving company, working closely with designers, engineers, and consultants on high-quality residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Development: Create conceptual designs, floor plans, elevations, and detailed drawings.
  • 3D Modelling: Develop and manage 3D building models using ArchiCAD and Lumion (training provided for Lumion).
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications in compliance with Australian building standards.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with a team of designers, engineers, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings to understand their vision and provide tailored design solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in building design or architectural drafting.
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD – this is a must.
  • Background in Architecture or Building Design (degree or diploma – open to various qualifications).
  • Strong understanding of Australian building codes and residential construction industry drafting practices.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
