We're seeking an experienced Employment Coach to join our team in supporting people with disabilities find meaningful employment. As a key member of our organization, you will work closely with clients to understand their career goals and aspirations, providing tailored support and developing individualized employment plans.
You will source and create job opportunities that match client strengths and interests, champion inclusive employment practices, and engage with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment. Your ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and problem-solve will be essential in facilitating employer training, promoting disability awareness, and creating job opportunities.
In addition to your technical skills, you will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be outcomes-focused, highly organized, and thrive in a people-first culture where integrity, confidentiality, and high-quality service are paramount.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing and creating job opportunities for clients with disabilities
- Providing tailored support and developing individualized employment plans
- Championing inclusive employment practices and engaging with employers
- Facilitating employer training and promoting disability awareness
- Creating job opportunities and building employer and community networks
You bring a strong passion for employment services, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. With experience or a genuine interest in working with individuals with disabilities, you are confident in your ability to make a positive impact in their lives. Your adaptability, resilience, and flexibility will enable you to navigate a dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Essential Criteria- Degree in Employment or Human Services - desirable
- Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively
- Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disabilities
- Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
