Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Develop and implement seasonal menus that are nutritious, appetizing, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure effective management of kitchen operations, including stock control, budgeting, and staff training.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and quality, adhering to relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or higher.
  • Food Safety Certificate (mandatory).
  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar catering or chef role.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a kitchen team.
  • Knowledge of aged care dietary requirements, including texture-modified diets and food-based supplementation.
  • A passion for providing high-quality meals that contribute to a homely and enjoyable dining environment.
