Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of health entities, providing expertise and guidance on financial and efficiency improvement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of health entities to ensure alignment with NSW Health requirements.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews, analysis, and reporting of Efficiency Improvement Plans.
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with all health entities and ensure ongoing accountability and commitment to the Efficiency Improvement Program.
  • Identify and promote efficiency improvement program learnings and ideas across NSW Health.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience managing a portfolio of stakeholders with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Strong ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate proficiently on challenging issues.
  • Strong judgement, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal with complex and sensitive matters.
  • Experience in continual process improvements and a demonstrated record in effecting change and improvements to reporting and business systems and processes.
