Job Opportunity:

The Commercial Advisory Manager role is a critical position within the Department, responsible for providing strategic leadership and sound commercial advice to senior stakeholders.

This role involves driving innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring the State receives value for money through best practice contract administration and contemporary approaches to commercial advisory.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the contract administration of the Commercial Advisory and Projects Branch, including delivery of the contract compliance framework and representation at contractor meetings.
  • Develop and present authoritative written documentation on contractual and operational issues to senior management.
  • Manage contractor relationships related to operational, financial, and contractual matters.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in service contract management and report preparation with commercial and contractual analysis.
  • Extensive experience in contract administration for Public Private Partnerships and provision of high-level commercial advice.
  • Understanding of the corrections environment and prisoner transportation issues is highly regarded.
