Empower Others as a Peer Facilitator

We are seeking an experienced Carer to join our team as a Peer Facilitator. As a Peer Facilitator, you will lead structured group sessions for Carers, drawing on the CHIME recovery framework, peer support principles and reflective practice.

This is a full-time opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. You will create safe, inclusive spaces where Carers can share, learn and grow together.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead structured group sessions for Carers using the CHIME recovery framework and peer support principles
  • Draw on your own lived experience to support the learning of others
  • Create safe, inclusive spaces for Carers to share, learn and grow together
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Lived experience as a young Carer or adult Carer
  • Certificate IV or above in a support discipline and/or equivalent Community sector experience
  • Evidence of working rights within Australia
  • Driving Licence
  • National Police Check (12 months old) and Working with Childrens Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online course
