About the Role

Flying Bark Productions is seeking a highly skilled CG Lighting Artist to join our team. As a key member of our visual effects team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality lighting and rendering solutions for our animated productions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with compositors and creative leads to achieve the creative brief set by the VFX Supervisor.
  • Confidently use industry-standard tools and software, including Arnold and Katana.
  • Develop and maintain consistency of lighting across all shots.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot lighting and rendering problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work closely with compositors to bring shots from lighting through to final, while maintaining timing and production quotas.
  • Successfully interpret and execute creative briefs, whether verbal or visual.
  • Contribute to a positive team dynamic and maintain good communication with colleagues.
  • Problem-solve and predict potential problems with assigned tasks.
  • Self-manage and complete tasks within production deadlines.
