About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Principal to join our team at Port Dalrymple School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational vision and direction of our school.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Principal in the general educational leadership, management and administration of the school.

To assist the Principal in promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic, social and emotional growth of all students.

Requirements
  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
  • A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000
  • Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005
  • Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.
What We Offer

This is a permanent, full-time position working 70 hours per fortnight. Ongoing employment will commence on 28 April 2025. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality education to our students.
