Position Overview:

The University of Tasmania is seeking a Medical Education Professor to join our team at the Launceston Clinical School. This position will focus on delivering high-quality medical education, including skills training and simulation-based education, for senior medical students.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to contribute to the delivery of medical education in regional Tasmania. The appointee will report to the Director of the Launceston Clinical School and work with a team of clinical academic staff to deliver medical education that aligns with the School of Medicine and the University's goals.

  • Professional experience relevant to the position.
  • A PhD or equivalent (such as a clinical Fellowship) in a relevant field.
  • A record of contributing effectively to building and maintaining effective and productive links locally and nationally with the discipline, profession, and wider community.
