Role Summary:

The University of Tasmania is seeking a Tasmanian Medical Education Lead to join our team at the Launceston Clinical School. This position will focus on delivering high-quality medical education, including skills training and simulation-based education, for senior medical students.

About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to contribute to the delivery of medical education in regional Tasmania. The appointee will report to the Director of the Launceston Clinical School and work with a team of clinical academic staff to deliver medical education that aligns with the School of Medicine and the University's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make a strong and sustained contribution to the University in achieving its strategic objectives and fulfilling its operational responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of productive and effective links inside the University and locally and nationally with the discipline, profession, industry and/or wider community.

Requirements:
  • Experience and demonstrated achievement in University-level or other post-secondary educational setting.
  • A suitable candidate will have professional experience relevant to the position.
  • A record of contributing effectively to building and maintaining effective and productive links locally and nationally with the discipline, profession, and wider community.
