Job Title: Compensation Expert

A skilled professional is sought after to oversee all aspects of payroll administration for a large workforce spanning multiple sectors. Key responsibilities include managing complex payroll cycles with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring every employee is paid correctly and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for medium-to-large organisations using modern payroll software.
  • Balance competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or timeliness.
  • Interpret Awards and employee agreements accurately when processing pay or resolving queries.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in line with statutory obligations.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience managing payroll for medium-to-large sized businesses.
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to interpret employment agreements and stay compliant with legislative requirements.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs including Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Commitment to teamwork and willingness to support colleagues during busy periods or absences.
  • Certainty in understanding of statutory obligations relating to superannuation payments, Payroll Tax submissions, Workers Compensation claims management, Centrelink deductions, and Child Support Agency disbursements.
  • Capacity for continuous learning and openness towards adopting new systems or practices.
