The Learning and Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving employee capability, engagement, and performance across our retail stores and head office. This strategic position is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating impactful learning initiatives that enhance business outcomes.

This key role will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Leading the design of a structured training framework that includes onboarding, product training, compliance, customer experience, and leadership development.
  • Delivering a mix of in-store, classroom, and digital training programs to support both technical (e.g., product knowledge, POS systems) and behavioral competencies (e.g., customer service, leadership).
  • Facilitating onboarding and milestone programs across the employee lifecycle.
  • Partnering with the Retail Division to identify training needs and build programs that drive store performance and enhance client experience.
  • Overseeing and continuously improving the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is user-friendly, regularly updated, and used effectively.
  • Monitoring and reporting on training effectiveness, participation, engagement, and business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Development, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role within a luxury brand.
  • Strong background in instructional design, learning facilitation, and LMS management.
  • Skills on Cin 7 or similar ERP system preferred.
  • Ability to travel interstate regularly.
  • Professional and engaging presentation skills.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and passionate about building a culture of learning and growth.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present ideas simply and engagingly.
  • Ability to build trust and alignment across teams and drive outcomes through collaboration and clear communication.
