This role offers an exciting opportunity to create, deliver and update HSEQ programs for employees that meet legislative requirements and company standards for workplace safety. Your ultimate purpose is to assist the business in providing a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating potential risks and hazards.

This generalist role involves all aspects of HSEQ including policy development, improvement strategies, training requirements, performance management, change management, auditing compliance against integrated management systems, and maintaining and improving HSEQ systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to assess risk and possible safety hazards, conduct inductions and other HSEQ related training, create HSEQ plans to meet business and contract requirements, compile monthly reports, and support Project based HSE Coaches.

In this role, you will be expected to engage at all levels of the business to ensure behaviours are consistent with company values and goals. You will also be responsible for investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site and/or office.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in OHS and relevant experience in auditing compliance against integrated management systems, injury management, and training and assessing.
