Our organization has an exciting opportunity for suitably trained and experienced medical officers to work in a complex clinical environment.

The role involves providing effective point of care multi-modality diagnostic and interventional Radiology services to patients. This includes taking a leadership role in timely delivery of Radiology reports for patients presenting to Gosford and Wyong Hospitals.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. MBBS or equivalent qualification;
  2. Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category;
  3. Completion of a minimum of three postgraduate years;
  4. FRANZCR or working towards completion of RANZCR fellowship;
  5. IMG assessed by RANZCR as partially comparable;
  6. High level of communication and interpersonal skills;
  7. Ability to work as part of a team and evidence of continued professional development and commitment to self-education;
  8. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management;
  9. Ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilizing excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise;
  10. Time management, problem solving skills and excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer skills;
  11. Minimum of 30 words per minute typing speed.

You will also need to demonstrate an understanding of how the District is Caring for the Coast and how this role would contribute.
