Job Title: Visiting Medical Officer In Radiology

  • Seeking a suitably qualified medical practitioner for the position within the Department of Radiology.

Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality medical services to patients in the department. This includes diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing procedures, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements:

  • Medical registration in Australia is required. The practitioner should have an unrestricted or 19AB exempted provider number.
  • Recognized specialist qualifications, such as Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, are necessary.
  • A strong procedural portfolio and experience in interventional radiology are also essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, are crucial.
  • Demonstrated interest in quality improvement methodologies and commitment to Caring for the Coast vision, goals, and strategies are expected.
  • Proven expertise in teaching and supervising trainees in interventional techniques is highly valued.
