Job Description:

As a key member of the payroll team, you will be responsible for administering monthly salaried payroll for all entities, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant delivery to support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process allocated monthly salaried payroll, including leave reconciliations, salary adjustments, and terminations.
  • Set up new starters and manage offboarding in accordance with policies.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and support the integrity of payroll ledgers.
  • Respond to payroll queries from across the business, providing expert guidance to managers and employees.
  • Prepare and distribute detailed payroll costing reports to business units.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior payroll team members, fostering best practice and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and process optimisation within payroll operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive payroll experience, ideally 3+ years in large corporate or operational environments.
  • Expertise in monthly salaried payroll processing and related reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, and best practices.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with enterprise payroll systems such as SAP, Kronos, or similar.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume payroll and support business-wide payroll operations.
