Seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance Specialist.

We are looking for an individual with expertise in risk management and compliance to join our team at Mercer. This is a hybrid position that requires working from home at least three days a week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential risks across our business operations, including financial, operational, compliance, and strategic risks.

They will implement and enhance risk management practices and controls within our organization, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.

The Senior Manager will also monitor the effectiveness of risk controls and regularly report on risk exposure to senior management and risk committees.

Additionally, they will ensure that we comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk management.

Stakeholder engagement is crucial in this role, as the Senior Manager will work closely with various teams to ensure an integrated approach to risk management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Actively identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Implement and enhance risk management practices and controls
  • Monitor and report on risk exposure
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication

The ideal candidate should have at least 5-10 years of experience in governance, regulatory compliance, or legal roles, with expertise in risk management and compliance.

They should be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
