Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Outcomes Manager to lead our Individualised Support Arrangements (ISA) team in the Rural and Remote East (Gippsland) region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the ISA, overseeing the development and implementation of disability services, and leading a team of support staff to deliver high-quality individualised disability supports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery
    • Manage the overall operations of the ISA team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of disability services, including the creation of individualised support plans and the provision of support to individuals with disability.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead a team of support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality individualised disability supports.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the skills and knowledge of the ISA team, ensuring they are equipped to meet the evolving requirements of service provision.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs and expectations of individuals with disability and their families.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with service delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals with disability and staff.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Comprehensive understanding of physical and intellectual disabilities, as well as other complex presentations, including mental health support.
    • In-depth knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and person-centred practices, ensuring the delivery of tailored, high-quality support.
    • Proven experience in leading teams to achieve high performance standards, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative management skills, promoting effective teamwork and positive workplace culture.
    • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
    • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and working independently.
  • Requirements
    • A current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check.
    • Access to a roadworthy and insured vehicle for work-related travel.
    • Current First Aid Certificate with CPR.
    • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status, including booster.
