Home Health Nursing Specialist

This exciting opportunity involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes. As a registered nurse, you will be part of an integrated team responsible for providing evidence-based care to support customers in various settings.
You will have the autonomy to work at your full scope of practice, offering quality care across different caseloads and work environments. Your expertise will be essential in managing acute and chronic conditions, medications, and complex wound care.
- Deliver clinical assessments and treatment in the management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Manage medications including IV antibiotics via PICCs, provide complex wound care, and manage surgical drain tubes and urinary catheters.
- Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Experience working in acute, sub-acute, and community-based environments with diverse patient groups.
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively to coordinate care.
- Current practice knowledge and minimum 12 months' experience delivering care to patients receiving IV antibiotics via PICC lines, complex wound care, and surgical drain tube management.
- Familiarity with various funding streams.
- Unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA.
