At Australian Unity, we are expanding our clinical teams across Australia. We are seeking qualified and passionate registered nurses to work across home care, out of hospital, and virtual care services. OverviewOur team is responsible for delivering evidence-based, person-centred nursing care to support customers in their own homes. This hybrid role will give you the opportunity to work at your full scope of practice, providing quality care across various work settings and caseloads. We currently have part-time positions available with flexible scheduling to suit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-home clinical assessments and provide treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
- Manage medications including IV antibiotics via PICCs.
- Provide complex wound care, including NPWT (negative pressure wound therapy).
- Manage surgical drain tubes and urinary catheters.
- Flexible work-life balance with rotating shifts.

- Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Experience in an acute, sub-acute, and/or community-based environment with diverse patient groups.
- Recent acute hospital experience highly regarded.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with others to coordinate care.
- Current practice knowledge and minimum 12 months experience delivering care to patients receiving IV antibiotics via PICC lines, complex wound care including NPWT, and surgical drain tube management.
- Working knowledge of various funding streams.
- Current driver's license and a registered, insured vehicle.
- Unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA.
