Home Health Nursing Professional

The role involves delivering evidence-based, person-centred nursing care to support customers in their own homes. This hybrid position will provide quality care across a variety of work settings and caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-home clinical assessments and provide treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
- Manage medications, including IV antibiotics via PICCs.
- Provide complex wound care, including NPWT (negative pressure wound therapy).
- Manage surgical drain tubes and urinary catheters.

Requirements:- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Experience in acute, sub-acute, and/or community-based environments with diverse patient groups.
- Recent acute hospital experience is highly regarded.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with others to coordinate care.
- Current practice knowledge and minimum 12 months experience delivering care to patients receiving IV antibiotics via PICC lines, complex wound care including NPWT, and surgical drain tube management.
- Working knowledge of various funding streams.
- Current driver's license and registered, insured vehicle.
- Unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA.
