Job Description\

This is a full-time opportunity to support our Diesel Generating Assets Team in South Australia.

\About the Position\
  • Main Responsibilities
    • \
    • Install, overhaul and maintain mechanical features of generating assets and auxiliary plant to contribute to availability and reliability of diesel power generation assets.\
    • Conduct routine maintenance on diesel generating and auxiliary plant.\
    • Identify, report and repair defects, with ability to identify opportunities for improvement.\
    • Undertake tasks such as welding, fabrication, lubrication, hydraulics and machining.\
    • Contribute to day-to-day work plans to ensure timely delivery.\
    • Maintain records by completing administrative requirements and using maintenance management systems.
\Requirements\
  • A Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Mobile Plant Technology or relevant Diesel trade certificate.
  • Knowledge and experience in repairs, maintenance and diagnostics within a power generation environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and determine root cause failures on plant and equipment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to establish constructive working relationships.
  • Ability to maintain highest standard of health and safety performance.
