Heavy Diesel Mechanic Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining heavy mining equipment, including drill rigs, excavators, and dump trucks.

The role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying and repairing mechanical faults, and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and breakdown repairs on underground drill rigs and other heavy mining equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance and defect repairs.
  • Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
  • Accurately scoping jobs and ensuring quality repairs.
  • General workshop duties and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Requirements:
  • A trade qualification in Diesel, Plant, or Heavy Automotive (Cert III - Mobile Plant Technology) or the equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience in mining, construction, civil, or heavy machinery maintenance.
  • A solid work ethic and team-first attitude.
  • An Australian Manual Driver's License & Full Australian Working Rights.
