Associate Director of Risk Management

The role of Associate Director - Divisional Controls is a senior position that involves providing expert advice and insight to support the identification and assessment of major change initiatives within the Technology Modernisation domain across Switching and Core Banking transformation.

As a key member of the Divisional Controls team, you will be responsible for managing risks and obligations applicable to the Domain, as well as any impact of the transformation. You will also proactively respond to events and issues arising that impact our customers and other stakeholders with root causes of issues, develop and implement appropriate solutions.

In addition, you will contribute to the comprehensive addressing of errors and look for ways to continuously improve our processes. You will partner closely with the CRO team to ensure major changes in transformational activities are well considered on aspects of risk exposures so that our customer experience is improved and safe.

  • Proven experience in Technology, Payments and Core Banking subject matter expertise with a strong background in risk identification, assessment and controls design
  • An investigative mindset to explore complex issues and deliver timely advice.
  • Ability to work autonomously being a senior member who will seek to expand responsibilities in 6-12 months.
  • Strong curiosity in solving problems.
