Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Management Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of various risk reporting needs, including quarterly risk reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.

The role will also involve assisting in the review and ongoing maintenance of the risk management framework, ensuring that it remains commensurate with the company's global frameworks while ensuring alignment with local regulations.

In addition, the Senior Risk Management Coordinator will assist in integrating risk into the business planning process through the review of risk appetite in conjunction with business plans and line 2 risk assessments of strategic/business initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, risk culture, and regulatory requirements. They will also possess excellent analytical skills, with experience in data analytics and reporting using tools such as PowerBI.

The role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative work culture, working closely with senior leaders and other teams to achieve business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Risk or related field
  • Proven experience working in risk management within Australia's financial services or APRA regulated entities
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, risk culture, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in data analytics and reporting using tools such as PowerBI
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
