
Early Start Graduate Speech Pathologist

This position is designed for new graduates in Speech Pathology who are eager to develop their clinical skills and experience.
The successful candidate will be working with children, helping them achieve development milestones and support participation in everyday activities by facilitating communication and language development.
As a Speech Pathologist, you will educate and involve parents, carers, and others around the child to support communication and language development. You will also support children to speak with clear and correct pronunciation and address stuttering and articulation disorders to promote fluent, confident speech.
You will work collaboratively with teachers and schools to address literacy, reading, and writing difficulties. Additionally, you will teach children skills to manage a wide range of food and drinks safely.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective therapy plans to help children achieve developmental milestones.
- Educate and involve parents, carers, and other stakeholders in supporting communication and language development.
- Address speech and language disorders, including stuttering and articulation issues.
- Collaborate with teachers and schools to address literacy, reading, and writing difficulties.
- Teach children skills related to safe management of food and drinks.

- A degree in Speech Pathology.
- Eligibility for registration as a Speech Pathologist.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, and attention to detail.
- A full valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with third-party insurance.
- A valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
- A clear current Police Check or willingness to obtain.
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
- First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
