OverviewEarly Start Australia is a national multidisciplinary Allied Health organisation with a focus on care for children. Our team includes Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Psychologists, offering therapies to support all ages, needs and abilities.
What Sets Our Graduate Program Apart- There is a smooth onboarding experience with a high level of supervision and ongoing support. You will have a caseload you can ease into and a dedicated buddy to help you settle in, along with fortnightly technical training to boost clinical skills and confidence.
- You will be mentored by an experienced clinician delivering therapy in clinics, client homes and schools, and via telehealth. You'll also have 1-on-1 mentoring with a senior clinician to support your career ambitions.

- Time allocated to therapy support activities to spend more time with clients and follow up, communicate and collaborate as needed.
- Help children achieve development milestones such as communicating wants and needs to participate in everyday activities (e.g., playing with friends and family).
- Educate and involve parents, carers and others around the child to support communication and language development.
- Support children to speak with clear and correct pronunciation so that others can understand them.
- Treat stuttering and articulation disorders to promote fluent and confident speech.
- Address literacy, reading and writing difficulties in collaboration with teachers and schools.
- Teach children skills to manage a wide range of food and drinks safely.

You Will Also Have- A degree in Speech Pathology.
- Eligibility for SPA registration upon graduating.
- Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in 2025.
- A full valid driver's license with access to your own vehicle and third party insurance.
- A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
- A clear current Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
- NDIS Working Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
- First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Excellent communication and time management skills with attention to detail.
