The Speech Pathology Graduate Program offers onboarding, supervision, and support with a caseload designed to ease you into practice, plus a dedicated buddy and regular technical training to boost your clinical skills and confidence.

Your own mentors: You'll be mentored by an experienced clinician, delivering therapy in clinics, clients' homes and schools, and via telehealth. You'll also have 1-on-1 mentoring with a senior clinician to support your career ambitions for the future.

Your role as a Speech Pathology Grad

• Help children achieve development milestones such as communicating their wants and needs to participate in everyday activities
• Educate and involve parents, carers and others around the child to support communication and language development
• Support children to speak with clear and correct pronunciation so that others can understand them
• Treat stuttering and articulation disorders to speak fluently and confidently
• Address literacy, reading and writing difficulties, in conjunction with teachers and schools
• Teach children the skills to manage a wide range of food and drinks safely

You Will Also Have

• A degree in Speech Pathology
• Eligibility for SPA registration upon graduating
• Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in 2025
• A full valid driver's license, with access to your own vehicle with third party insurance
• A valid Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain
• A clear current Police Check, or be willing to obtain
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or be willing to obtain
• First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain
• Excellent communication and time management skills, and attention to detail
