Our service relies heavily on the Court Support Officer role. Across Queensland, we have around 50 support officers working in various locations.

This position is crucial in bridging the gap between our clients and legal practitioners.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Aiding clients in preparing for court cases;
  • Assisting with paperwork, legal forms, and court documents;
  • Communicating between legal practitioners and clients;
  • Driving a company vehicle to remote communities to provide assistance;
  • Participating in an after-hours on-call service by roster;

Additional benefits include:

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

    • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;

    • Understanding of client rights and needs within the justice system.

    While a current Queensland Government Blue Card is not required, you must hold a current National Police Criminal Record check prior to commencing work with our clients or accessing any client file or database record.
