Job Description

As a key member of the North West QLD community, you will be responsible for providing a prosecution service to ensure justice is served in our region.

This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Represent the Queensland Police Service and its members in matters before the Magistrates, Children's and Coroners Courts.
  • Provide legal advice on court processes and procedures.
  • Liaise with police, lawyers, government agencies, and the community to establish effective working relationships.
  • Monitor briefs of evidence to ensure high quality.
  • Set and maintain high standards of performance and conduct.
