About The Role

The focus of the role is to provide support for students with mild to moderate mental health concerns, including:

• Providing professional guidance and information for students, parents, carers and school communities
• Fostering partnerships in decision making for enhancement of all students' learning
• Utilizing evidence-based intervention strategies to support young people experiencing challenges with mental health, and social and emotional wellbeing
• Offering therapeutic counselling and support through individual or group sessions
• Maintaining appropriate data collection and confidential records keeping and reporting systems
