Job Title: Support Workers

Are you looking for a career that makes a difference? As a support worker, you will be working with clients who require assistance with daily living tasks. This role involves providing emotional support and companionship to individuals who need help with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks.

As a support worker, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their daily needs, including:

  • Personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Mobility assistance such as walking, transferring, and using assistive devices
  • Daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication management, and housekeeping

You will also provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping them to maintain their independence and achieve their goals. This may involve activities such as:

  • Encouraging clients to participate in leisure activities and hobbies
  • Supporting clients with their social and emotional needs
  • Helping clients to develop and implement goal-setting plans

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Cert IV in Disability
  • Experience in disability or aged care (bonus if you have experience with paraplegic clients)
  • A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Up-to-date vaccinations as per the Australian Immunisation Handbook
  • NDIS Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • Right to work in Australia
