Job Title: Delivery Driver - Customer Service

We are seeking reliable and motivated delivery professionals to deliver exceptional customer service. The primary role is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of customer orders from our stores to their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery: Safely transport and deliver a variety of goods to customers' homes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving any delivery issues.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that delivery vehicles are kept clean, maintained, and in good working order. Report any vehicle issues to the management team.
  • Route Adherence: Plan and follow the route to ensure timely deliveries, using navigation tools consistently.
  • Order Handling: Accurately load and unload goods, verify delivery contents against orders, and handle items with care to prevent damage.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while on duty. Punctuality is a strong focus.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a Full Australian driver's license.
  • Local Residency: Must be a resident of the Camden/Macarthur region.
  • Clean Criminal Record: Must have a clear criminal background check.
  • Clean Driving Record: Demonstrated history of safe driving with no consistent driving offences.
  • Experience: Previous experience in delivery driving or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple deliveries, and solve problems efficiently, with a strong emphasis on punctuality.
  • Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting and carrying packages of varying sizes and weights.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with navigation systems and basic technology used in delivery operations.
