Role Overview

This is a pivotal position for selecting, sourcing, and managing product ranges tailored to the local market. You will play a key role in shaping our product strategy and assortment for the Sydney/ANZ market.

Responsibilities
  • Select, source, and manage furniture product ranges, including various options, and demand forecast for the Sydney/ANZ market.
  • Provide product, pricing, and market insights/feedbacks to the HQ Merchandising team.
  • Conduct market survey/research and analyse consumer behaviour, demographics, and competitors' activities.
  • Develop product and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on product launches, promotions, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Act as the key liaison between HQ and the Sydney/ANZ business for overall product and assortment decisions.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Buyer or Product Merchandiser in the furniture, home, or retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ANZ consumer trends and market dynamics.
  • Expertise in product selection, pricing, and SKU management.
  • Commercially minded with excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Computing and technology knowhow.
  • Must – Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Preferably Monday.com, SAP, DOMO and other BI tools.
