We're proud to offer market leading furniture solutions and localised service for commercial projects and fit outs; in addition to two catalogue ranges of everyday office furniture.
Over three decades we have built a strong reputation in the design industry, delivering furniture solutions across Australia and New Zealand. We work in a range of sectors including commercial, health, government and education, and provide furniture for both small and large projects.
**Reports to the GM of Business Interiors, our **National Sales Manager - Furniture** effectively leads and manages their team to successfully execute and deliver on the Furniture business sales strategy, ensuring all revenue and trading profit targets are consistently met.**:
**In this role you will be responsible for**:
- Lead & manage the Sales function across 2 distinct Go to Market Strategies:
- Everyday Furniture - high volume, low value product sales
- Furniture Projects - small volume, high value configured fit outs
- Development of a high performing sales culture focussed on optimising value for the teams efforts through early qualification and development of strong selling propositions
- Coach, develop and mentor the team to achieve and exceed all sales KPI's and ensure all targets (activity, pipeline coverage, win rate etc) are consistently met; and manage performance as required
- Negotiating major deals within policy guidelines, maintaining contact with key clients and identifying and steering opportunities for business improvement
- Development of a collaborative and cohesive working approach across the broader WINC sales organisation and ensure Furniture is well represented with all customers
**Key skills & experience required**:
- Business Degree or equivalent
- Solid, high-level understanding of complex / advanced process in the business-to-business industry
- A proven track record and substantial management experience operating in a large matrix organisation selling through multi-channels
- Success in the development and selling of valued solutions in a capital works environment, characterised by long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- High activity KPI background
- Demonstrated experience delivering targets in a very competitive marketplace
- Operating in a highly competitive, dynamic, and ambiguous environment
- Furniture industry experience with knowledge across market needs/trends, products, and the competitive environment
- Exposure to Construction industry
