Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled caregiver to provide personal support services to residents. This role involves assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities and encouraging self-reliance.
About You
  • You should have a current first aid certificate or be working towards one.
  • Experience working with the elderly is essential, as is empathy and understanding of dementia.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • You must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and demonstrate a commitment to professional development.
  • You should also have a current Class C Drivers Licence and an understanding of and empathy with Aboriginal culture.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care is preferred, but willingness to obtain is also acceptable.
