Job Opportunity

Seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Worker to provide personal care services to residents in a residential care setting. This role requires the ability to deliver high-quality personal care, develop positive relationships with residents and their families, and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming in accordance with Commonwealth and State Legislative requirements.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent care outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience working with the elderly, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Understanding of dementia and its impact on individuals and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to cultural safety and understanding of Aboriginal culture.
